Isaac is a werewolf! He is also infectious at all times, though it takes some sort of transfer of blood and/or fluids to infect someone. In normal day to day activities he'll be perfectly safe, but if he should get injured or something there is a small chance of infection.

I don't want to step on people's toes with this, so that's what this post is for! It's both an opt out and sort of opt in post. Please comment here with your character(s) (you may select the same "level" for all characters current and future or different for each character) and the level of danger/exposure you are ok with!

Levels:

Complete opting out: If you select this level I will not have Isaac tag your character if there is even the slightest chance of an infection occurring. I will put out warnings in each of Isaac's posts if there is a chance of infection also so you won't be surprised if you comment.

Partial opting out: Basically, while Isaac may tag your characters in situations that have chances of infection, I will give warnings in the comments/post and do everything OOCly possible to avoid infection. We can do creative handwaving to make sure no infection occurs. (Say, both Isaac and your character are bleeding. By some miracle, none of Isaac's blood gets in your character's wounds, sort of thing. ICly, of course, the characters may not know this and react accordingly)

Opting in note: Any potential infection requires both a lot of planning and mod approval, of course. This is just a way in advance heads up for everybody involved.

Partial opting in: The same as partial opting out, except as things develop we can decide that after getting mod approval it might be fun for the "miracle" not to happen. Basically this is the "I am not adverse to a potential infection at some point in the future" level.

Full opting in: Please read this info post first, or at least the "stages of infection" part. This level is basically saying "I think an infection plot would be fun and I'm considering it for my character someday." People who choose this level will be the first ones I contact about things should I decide to do an infection plot and get approval.

You can change your level at any time, this just helps me know better where I stand.

Secondly, your characters may be actually immune!
In Isaac's 'verse some humans are sort of immune (they still become carriers but suffer no effects) and I am very open for characters to be immune, if the players think they should be. Maybe they have some other symbiotic organism or a super immune system or other interfering factor that nulls the virus. Perhaps they have mystical healing abilities and can destroy/remove the virus before it takes effect. Perhaps your character is another species entirely, or a mutant/magic user/etc and won't be in danger. Basically if it's plausible, I'll go for it so comment here with the reason!

(Caveat: If your character might be immune (maybe by being not really human or something) but you want to keep the option of infection open, we can work with that too. Who knows how the virus would react to other species, or if even in immune species there might be susceptible individuals. )

Amelia is a mage, but to my knowledge, that doesn't mean any immunity to lycanthrophy in her universe (if the virus tends to respond to magic, let me know). Werewolves do exist in the Slayers universe*, so she'd know to take precautions against blood contact (even beyond those normally done as a healer).

I'd give her the partial opt-in: I don't care either way, but I'm game for giving Amelia's actions consequences if she isn't careful.

* At least one of the comics had them.

Blaine's a normal human, and despite all that he thinks of himself, his immune system wouldn't be able to fight off infection. I'm also fine with it either way, so partial opt-in! Stuff happens, so who knows o7

Consider this a partial opt in! I don't have any plans for anything like a full pot in at the moment, but things happen and if it got to a situation where something like this might, I'd probably be interested in seeing where it goes. I don't think Nill having wings would make her immune.

Yo. I don't think Yosuke would be immune off the bat, but I can see him attempting healing with his Persona if he got sick. So I'm going to call this an opt in-opt out, in which if he gets infected no biggie. He'll be ill a few days and then magic it better.

Of course only if you think that's plausible. But it'd give you someone not to have to be super careful around. If it sounds unlikely to you no worries, I'll just be more careful about contact. Because weresuke is a problem no one really needs!

Straight out of canon? Probably not. I mean even poison needs a posumudi, and Yosuke can't learn it. But in Ex the weapons are smart enough to grow in ability with the needs of the users, so I don't think it's a big stretch.

And yeah if it ever happens we'll have to work out a way for Isaac to find out in time to tell him before he gets comatose or something awful.
